Samsung Galaxy Camera/ 2013-14

Galaxy Camera introduced Samsung's first Android-based connected camera, requiring an interface that felt familiar to mobile users while supporting serious photography workflows. The challenge was replacing physical controls without sacrificing usability.

I helped replace traditional button-based navigation with an intuitive touch interface and integrated Android home patterns for a familiar entry point. Cross-functional collaboration focused on ergonomics, screen layout, and seamless transitions between camera and app experiences.

The result was a connected camera that stood out for its touch-first interface and Android integration, receiving positive response from consumers and reviewers and helping define a new category of smart cameras.
