Blood Pressure Health Innovation/ 2016
This project was developed at SCAD in collaboration with Philips Healthcare to explore service opportunities in blood pressure and hypertension management. The challenge was to identify how digital services and connected products could meaningfully complement existing treatment pathways for older adults and caregivers.
Our team conducted primary and secondary research from both clinical and daily-life perspectives, then organized findings across Lifestyle, Awareness, Access, and Management. A key framing question guided the concept phase: how diagnosis and ongoing treatment affect the lives of people aged 65 to 80 and their caregivers across the healthcare continuum.
The outcome was an integrated platform concept developed through focused workstreams in toolkit design, app development, and prototyping. The final proposal presented a connected care direction intended to support more effective long-term health and lifestyle management for people with high blood pressure.
